I’m going to write a pretend poem. 

Oh wait. A pretend friend wants to hangout. 

Let me check my pretend calendar. 

I have a pretend obligation. 

It’s a pretend meeting. 

I’ll do a lot of pretending during this meeting. 

My coworkers will pretend like it was productive. 

Eat my pretend food. 
Breathe my pretend air. 
Now I’ll pretend to sleep. 

I’m sick but I’m really just pretending. 
I’ll pretend to lay in bed all day. 
My favorite pretend TV show is on. 
It’s called pretend The Price is Right. 

Inflation is pretend. 
Only because money is pretend. 
I use my pretend cash to buy pretend services. 

My life is full of pretending. 

Since I was a child
I was told to pretend. 
Imagination –
Never let it go. 

Now I’m an adult and all I do is pretend.  
I live in a pretend world.
